To mark the new partnership, IMAX will be showing advanced screenings of the much anticipated Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol five days before regular screenings*.

We joined forces with the local community establishing a top team of youths and school children to brighton up Telfer Subway, one of Edinburgh’s busiest thoroughfares. The FountainPark Community Mural features the illustrations conjured up by the imaginations of creative youngsters from High and Calry Primary school, and now will hopefully provide a solution for the constant graffiti valndalism being performed on the walls of Telfer Subway.

The children and young adults from Boroughmuir High and Dalry Primary, the Garvald Centre for adults with disabilities and local reading groups helped us by creating fun colourful images to replace the heavily graffitied wall, and despite the cold and wet winter weather a group of third years from Boroughmuir High and youngsters from Dalry Primary helped to paint the mural itself!

We are so happy to have this wonderful new piece of art here and hope this will help it will bring the community together to prevent graffiti in the future. We would also like to thank Jane McEwan a local artist, without her inspiration and links with local school art projects this would not have been such a great success.
